Coachella Line-Up Released: Bands I Would Actually See

So, the line-up for Coachella has been released and while some of the bands/acts in the biggest type face are drawing a lot of the attention, I find myself concentrating more on the smaller type and geeking out quite a bit. So, on a day-by-day basis, here’s who I would actually want to see and maybe this year, I can make that happen.

Day 1: The Specials, Echo and the Bunnymen, Yeasayer, Dillinger Escape Plan, Ra Ra Riot, White Rabbits, Jets Overhead.

Day 2: Coheed and Cambria, Mew, Tokyo Police Club, Old Crow Medicine Show, Frightened Rabbit (!!!), The Temper Trap, Portugal the Man.

Day 3: Pavement (ok, big font type band, but who cares), Spoon, De La Soul, Sunny Day Real Estate (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), Yo La Tengo.

There’s probably more bands that I should know about and would like to see and maybe I’ll discover them in person, but at $269 per person for a 3-day pass plus camping (right, have we met?)… that remains to be seen.

  • i want to go! i want to go! but perhaps for very different reasons than why you want to go…vampire weekend, avett brothers, as tall as lions, mgmt, old crow medicine show, frightened rabbit, corinne bailey rae, gorillaz, matt & kim…but i don’t have $269 plus travel out to cali. so just make me a cd :)
